She is a self-proclaimed book nerd who lives in Alabama with her husband, four Boxer fur-kids, one lazy cat, a turtle and tortoise, and a farm full of critters (Chickens, Ducks, Guineas, Turkeys). When she isn’t feeding the animals or writing stories, she can be found in her oversized chair with her nose buried in a book. She dreams of having an in-home library with a rolling ladder one day.
 

For fun, she’s watched every episode of Forensic Files and is obsessed with crime shows. Schitt’s Creek is gold and you can hear a quote from it being shouted around the house. “I don’t want to brag, but Us Weekly once described me as ‘up for anything.’” -Alexis
 

When she's not reading, she's either drawing or taking photos – landscapes and wildlife are her favorites. She is learning about Astrophotography. Though camping and fishing caught her attention, hiking never quite did – she prefers to drive up somewhere beautiful instead.
